Sweet Affairs recently introduced their breakfast menu, available from 9 am to 12 noon. The eatery is famous for its baked goods which had a humble start and now has flourished with 2 branches in the best areas of Lahore, Gulberg and DHA.
On a very hot summer day, I decided to check their menu out. The ambience of their Phase4 branch is very airy, set on a large area, the decoration in minimal yet beautifully done. The place is highlighted by the good looking cakes hung by their ceiling and their delicious baked goods and gelato on the display. The seating is very cosy and comforting.
Their breakfast menu was not so impressive with only to choose between eggs and sweet based dishes. Breakfasts should be healthier than this but the sweet tooth wins usually….. we are at fault.
So I ordered Waffles with Red velvet gelato & Strawberry smoothie
The smoothie was made from their gelato – it was quite thick, creamy and tasty, though I expected a fruit smoothie or a healthier version of a smoothie. The presentation was not so appealing either. 
The waffle took 15 minutes to arrive, which I was told at the time of ordering, punctuality.
It looked heavenly; the serving was ample for a single person. The waffle
was crispy thick and the gelato softened it perfectly and the chocolate sauce wasn’t too sweet or too sour. The flavours added perfectly. Defiantly a must try and would have it again.
I had half of time and packed the rest.
The foods really good but the value for money isn’t. The prices I thought are higher than usual.
